It is probably not only uncertainty that is keeping equities traders indoors drinking egg nog this week. The Federal Reserve’s monetary policy remains accomodative, which keeps investing quiet among equities, but even more apparent is the fact that the U.S. is still in a period of slow economic recovery. The Barclays Research team said in a note Monday not to get your hopes up for a rally too early in 2012.
